Creative ArtsFairfax Community Church Creative Arts Ministry has many areas to serve in. Some require special skills, while others provide the training needed. Audio & Lighting Team: Volunteers help with the set-up, tear-down, and operation of audio and lighting equipment during weekend services and special events.

Communication Team: Ways to serve include reviewing Fairfax Community communication through proofreading and content writing, marketing & publicity strategic planning, worship booklet production, sermon CD duplication, and communication to the other creative arts teams.

Graphics Team: Our graphics team creates all the content you see during our weekend worship services. Positions include graphic designers, announcement slide designers, print layout volunteers, and designing and updating publications.

Media Shout Team: Media Shout is the program used to display the projected slides and video during the weekend services and special events. Volunteers set up slide shows and/or run them. Training Provided.

Still Life Ministries (Photography) is a group of professional and experienced photographers that meet regularly to challenge, teach and inspire each other in the area of photography. They also take photographs of the various Fairfax Community events.

Technology Support Ministry: Our technology team help ensure our computers and network run smoothly and train staff and volunteers on software programs. They also troubleshoot problems, setup new computers and manage our used equipment.

Video Team: Our video team works together to produce the videos used during our weekend worship services. Positions include camera operators, video editors, script writers, directors, interviewers and tech directors.

Website Team: Fairfax Community has a number of people who keep our website up-to-date and provide direction for the website. Ways to serve include creating and updating Flash content, making webpage updates and developing web applications.
