Bible Study: Paul’s Letters from Prison

September 27 from 7:30 pm to 9:00 pm

|Recurring Event (See all)

An event every week that begins at 7:30pm on Thursday, repeating until December 6, 2018

Pauls-Letters

What do you do when you have time on your hands? If you’re like the apostle Paul, you put that time to good use. In this study, we’ll talk about the four surviving letters he wrote during his time of house arrest in Rome. Paul’s messages all point to Jesus and how our relationship with Him changes the way we think, act, react, and live. Some of the themes Paul addresses in these letters are rejecting lies about Jesus, embracing deep spiritual truths, experiencing joy in the Lord, and living out faith in everyday, practical ways. We’ll read through the letters and discuss the background and context for each one as we apply timeless truths to our own situations.

Time Commitment: Meets every Thursday for 10weeks (Beginning Sept 27, ending Dec 6 – no class on Nov 22)

REGISTER HERE for this class to engage in a small group discussion on the Letters of Paul.
