This June, unleash hope for children in Zambia

Join us Saturday, June 5 at Occoquan Regional Park.

Zambia has the highest per capita orphan rate in the world. In a country where over 1.6 million children are orphaned, it's easy to get overwhelmed by all that seems hopeless. But there is hope.

This June, join us in running the race for Villages of Hope. Our goal is to raise $20,000 to bring hope to over 600 vulnerable children living in orphan homes and attending the School of Hope.

What does hope look like?

THE VILLAGE

The Village of Hope is made up of 10 houses caring for 109 orphans and vulnerable children in Christ-centered, family-styled homes with 8 house mothers and fathers providing a loving, secure attachment for each household.

HEALTH SERVICES

Access to healthcare and quality nutritious food is essential to the growth of the children in care. Villages of Hope provides medical exams, counsel, referral, and case oversight for over 1,000 rural Zambians in the Village and beyond.

ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT

Several businesses in the Villages generate 70% of the operating budget needed to run the ministry. These businesses have allowed Villages of Hope to impact the community, creating over 150 jobs in an area where only 15% of the population are on a payroll.
