Every parent has 936 weeks between their child’s birth and graduation from high school. Our mission is to partner with parents so their kids can thrive in every phase of childhood and adolescence. On March 3 & 4, we are opening a new 36,000 sq. ft. Family Center and launching a new series entitled It’s Just a Phase. Both are designed to help parents raise up strong, healthy kids who love Jesus, love others and impact the world in positive ways.

It’s Just a Phase
A phase is defined as a time frame in a kid’s life when you can leverage distinctive opportunities to influence their future. We don’t want you to miss what’s happening during these critical phases of your child’s development. This six-week series will be filled with practical guidance on how to help your kids thrive no matter what phase they are in. This series is designed not just for parents, but for every adult who desires to have a positive impact on the next generation.
- Week 1 – Understand This Phase: St. Francis of Assisi said “Seek first to understand, then to be understood.” In order to be the parent God created you to be, you need to understand the phase your kids are currently in physically, mentally, relationally, and emotionally.
- Week 2 – Affirm Their Potential: Every kid has potential the day he or she is born. You should never underestimate a kid’s potential to learn, grow, innovate and believe because there is one thing that makes every kid the same. That they are made in the image of God.
- Week 3 – Play to Your Audience: The way a kid relates to God changes at every phase. Your job is not to define God at every phase. Your job is to help kids rediscover God in a new way at every phase.
- Week 4 – Celebrate the Big Moments: Every phase has a past, present and future. So make sure to celebrate the big moments. Big moments are an opportunity to remember God’s faithfulness, celebrate God’s presence and anticipate the future fulfillment of God’s promises.
The Hangar is our place for students to be on the weekend. You’ll enjoy an exciting time together with others your age while being challenged to learn and grow. Don’t miss it!
