Fairfax Church is privileged to work alongside leaders and organizations in our local neighborhoods who are making impactful changes. Through deep relationships, generous financial commitments, and volunteers we serve the following organizations, among many others.

The Lamb Center

Fairfax Church is financially committed to monthly support of the Lamb Center, a daytime drop-in center serving the poor and homeless with meals, shower, laundry, social & medical services. Fairfax volunteers prepare and deliver a hot breakfast on the second Saturday of each month.

Fairfax FISH

Fairfax is one of 14 churches providing funds and volunteers serving the needy and elderly in the greater Fairfax City area. FISH volunteers work directly with the Fairfax County Office of Coordinated Services and pastors from member churches by responding to requests for life’s necessities: food, clothing, financial assistance, mortgage, utility bills, gasoline, and prescriptions. Volunteer as a FISH driver and/or phone captain.

Young Life Capernaum

Fairfax is privileged to support the leadership of Young Life Capernaum Fairfax as they make an impact on young lives for Jesus. The volunteers in Young Life Capernaum build deep relationships with students with special needs, mentoring and teaching them about Jesus. Volunteer as a Young Life Capernaum mentor.

YoungLives

We are honored to support the leadership of Young Lives in reaching teen moms. By forming strong bonds and modeling the unconditional love of Christ, leaders encourage teen moms to become the women and mothers God created them to be. Young moms are empowered to make positive choices, set and achieve goals, and live a future rooted in Christ.
