Day 38
Start with Posture of Silence and Solitude (2 minutes)
Read Psalm 149 two or three times either aloud or silently.
Praise the Lord.
Sing to the Lord a new song,
ย ย ย ย his praise in the assembly of his faithful people.
Let Israel rejoice in their Maker;
ย ย ย ย let the people of Zion be glad in their King.
Let them praise his name with dancing
ย ย ย ย and make music to him with timbrel and harp.
For the Lord takes delight in his people;
ย ย ย ย he crowns the humble with victory.
Let his faithful people rejoice in this honor
ย ย ย ย and sing for joy on their beds.
May the praise of God be in their mouths
ย ย ย ย and a double-edged sword in their hands,
to inflict vengeance on the nations
ย ย ย ย and punishment on the peoples,
to bind their kings with fetters,
ย ย ย ย their nobles with shackles of iron,
to carry out the sentence written against themโ
ย ย ย ย this is the glory of all his faithful people.
Praise the Lord.
What word or phrase stood out to you?: Meditate on that word or phrase.What might God be speaking to you this day?
