Lots of people talk about social justice and whatโ€™s wrong in the world.

Justice is important to God too. Itโ€™s so important, that how to live justly is a consistent theme throughout the Bible. Following Jesus means we have to know Him, and part of knowing Him is knowing whatโ€™s important to Him. So if itโ€™s important to God, it should be important to us.

In spending time reflecting on what God says about justice, it is our hope that your heart will resonate with Godโ€™s toย act justly, love mercy, and walk humbly with God. It’s no easy task, but itโ€™s a worthy calling. As we apply Godโ€™s heart of justice, weโ€™ll see ourselves, and others, changed as the kingdom of heaven comes to earth.

Day 7

And he told them a parable to the effect that they ought always to pray and not lose heart. He said, โ€œIn a certain city there was a judge who neither feared God nor respected man. And there was a widow in that city who kept coming to him and saying, โ€˜Give me justice against my adversary.โ€™ For a while he refused, but afterward he said to himself, โ€˜Though I neither fear God nor respect man, yet because this widow keeps bothering me, I will give her justice, so that she will not beat me down by her continual coming.โ€™โ€ Luke 18:1-8
